GAG Goons:

Peter Burke
A fiesty competitor on the course playing out of the Apawamis Club in Rye, Pete brought heart and fire to the GAG.  He played the Pinehurst GAG were he was named MVP after draining a clutch putt to clinch the GAG.  He also played in the TPC Sawgrass GAG were he suffered a devastating defeat at the hands of Nishan "Huggy Bear" Vartanian.

Dave Murray
A graduate of the SLU and a gritty competitor, Murray brought some solid golf and whole lot of comedy to the GAG.  He dropped an opening round 81 at Pinehurst #4 in soggy conditions, letting his opponents know he meant business.  Murray's most famous GAG moment was when he wrestled away the microphone in a burger joint in Chapel Hill, NC and sang Crackling Rosie to the delight of many Tar Heels.

Tom Seitz
A 3 time GAG participant (Pinehurst, Sawgrass, and Dorado) and also playing out of the famed Apawamis Club, Seitz brought leadership and spirit to a team desperately needing it.  A risk taker both on and off the course, Seitz led his team to victory in Sawgrass while wearing the ugliest shirts ever produced.  Unfortunately, his GAG magic was short lived as he and his team ran into a tsunami in Puerto Rico in the form of Burr, Brown, Westy, Cassin, Pollack, and Polk.

Sam Polk
A salty dog from the shores of Fisher's Island Golf Club, Slammin' Sammy Polk was a spirited competitor who left his mark on the Dorado GAG.  An avid fisherman and a heck of putter, Sammy rolled in numerous 10 - 12 footers to help his team steamroll the opposition.  He's been spotted recently on the Upper East Side of Manhattan enjoying a cool beverage and a pack of Marlboro's.

Reed "Radar" Carroll
Once again another player from the Apawamis Club, Radar was an intense competitor who always showed up on Sunday.  He was a 5 time GAG participant who helped his team win a tough battle down at the famed TPC Sawgrass, going undefeated.  Unfortunately, his last GAG was not his fondest memory as he ran into a buzzsaw at the hands of the dynasty.  His most famous GAG moment was taking down GAG legend Andrew Burr in Sunday singles at Pinehurst.

John "Freddie" Fredericks
Freddy came to the GAG replacing Tom Seitz, who suffered a knee injury, and Freddy would have made ol' Seitzy proud.  Freddy came out guns blazing, issuing a warning to the killer B'z Burr and Brown that he wouldn’t miss a fairway all weekend and he would lead his team to victory.  While Freddy played some inspired golf down in Kiawah it wasn’t enough to dethrone the Champions and he was taken behind the woodshed in Sunday singles by GAG legend Ethan Brown.

Ted "Postman" Post
Postman arrived on the scene in Kiawah Island as a rookie not custom to the long hard days of the GAG.  As straight a hitter as Fred Funk, Postman also had a hot putter that was dangerous within 20 feet.  Postman, unlike his nickname, was about as comfortable in the rain as the Wicked Witch of the East.  He leaves the GAG having never hoisted "The Trophy" and will be resigned to only hoisting the mail bag.  The Postman did indeed ring twice, unfortunately for him, on the door of the Champions.
